Cllr Davis asked that the floor address the Chair by raising their hand if they wished to speak.

1.   No apologies as all councillors in attendance.

2.   Cllr Davis declared an interest as a near neighbour to both applications and had personally commented to SKDC on proposal S21/1333(Home Farm Cottage application) and said he would abstain from voting.

3.   The Clerk had received no comments with regards to proposal S21/1294 (erection of cart shed to the rear of Hayloft Barn). A discussion took place in which Cllr Davis read out the proposal (as stated on the SKDC website) indicating the siting and purpose of the cart shed and the materials to be used in its construction. There was support for the application from the floor.

Cllr Crookes proposed that the Parish Council make comment to SKDC that in a public meeting there were a number of comments from members of the public in support of the application. Cllr Butler seconded this. The proposal was carried by a vote of 4-0. Cllr Davis abstained.

4.   The Clerk had received 1 comment from a near neighbour with regards to proposal S21/1333 (application to vary Condition 2 (approved plans) of S20/2145 at Home Farm Cottage) The Clerk read out the comment in full which listed the neighbour’s concerns about the proposal for the new build. A discussion took place in which Cllr Davis read out the proposal (as stated on the SKDC website) indicating the revised new  application in which the garage would become attached with the addition of a second storey above. Cllr Smith seconded this. The proposal was carried by a vote of 4-0. Cllr Davis abstained.
