There will be a 15 minute open discussion to which residents are invited to attend, ask questions or make short statements to the Council. This does not form part of the formal proceedings but informs the agenda for the next meeting.

Motion : To adopt the draft minutes as a true record of the previous extraordinary meeting of 31 July 2023

 Motion: That the finance report be accepted

6.0 Clerking arrangements (deferred from previous meeting)

Motion: That an advert is placed for the employment of a parish clerk as soon as possible

7.0 Upkeep of public planting areas

Motion: A planting scheme suggested by the Gardening Club be agreed by residents to guide the development of the existing planted areas.

Motion: A group be established to share the maintenance of the public areas in the village, such as the Green, and to promote the donation of plants for these areas.

8.00 Update on residents priorities

8a) Further progress toward the potential purchase and installation of a moveable electronic speed signs.

Motion re speeding survey

Option a ) All four roads into and out of Stubton to be surveyed

Option b) Brandon Road and Claypole Road to be surveyed

-RT (resident) to make contact with the Brandon Speed Awareness Group.

8b) Further progress the design and installation of a village sign and link this with coronation commemoration.
