MINUTES FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF STUBTON PARISH COUNCIL
WEDNESDAY 15th MARCH at 8.00pm in the Village Hall
Council Members in attendance: Geoffrey Dorrity [Chair], Jennifer Taylor [Vice Chair]

1.0 Apologies for Absence
Cllr Teri England could not make the meeting – Cllrs accept apologies for absence.
2.0 Conflicts
No conflicts of interest stated by attending councillors.
2.1 Disclosures of Interest
No closures of interest stated by attending councillors.
3.0 Minutes of Last Meetings
Motion: To adopt the draft minutes as a true record of the previous meeting of February 23rd, 2023. Chair proposed, Cllr Jenny Taylor Seconded
4.0 Any Matters Outstanding
No current matters outstanding to report.
5.0 To discuss and decide response to amended planning application for Home Farm Cottage.

Chair commented regarding no change in application; just a change in submission; under the material planning considerations there is no impact. Cllrs responded that they were in support of the planning application. Chair will respond to South Kesteven planning department regarding the application.
Motion to support the application proposed by Chair; seconded by Cllr Jenny Taylor.
6.0 Discussion and decision regarding the intended process going forward for co-option of new councillor.
Application Received. Cllr Jenny Taylor spoke about the applicant, she believes they would be a good addition to the council. Motion to adopt Andrew Watkins as councillor. Seconded by both the Chair and Cllr North.
7.0 Election Briefing

Closing date for nominations is 4pm on the 4th of April.
8.0 AOB
Cllr Jenny Taylor has spoken to SKDC about the application for support for Coronation Events she has submitted a form for the village.
